Mariata Couch of Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke was interviewed by the kids at Lyttelton Primary School.
The kids enjoyed learning about Mariata's childhood in Lyttelton and Rāpaki. Mariata was also able to share some stories of her ancestors. This clip above makes a beautiful connection between Mariata and the Treaty.
